home is where the heart is
This mural pretty much says it all for me right now. Home really isn't necessarily a physical place - but wherever my heart is. Right now, it's in London.
You can find this mural here, along with loads of other pretty murals for the hopeless romantic (ie. me). Nice one, Philadelphia.

getting things done monday
I am on some kind of mission today. Ticking things off lists like nobody's business. Feels good.
I also spoke to Liam, weight has lifted off my shoulders. He sounded like himself.
I like this photo. It's happy and full of cinnamon buns.

Big things
My dear friend Liam is in the hospital, but he's going to be ok. He gave me a real fright.
It's only 2 and a bit weeks 'til I see this guy in the flesh, and on MY home turf no less. My stomach is doing backflips fairly constantly now. Maybe we'll get lost in the Australian bush, like we did in the English countryside that day.
Nate Dogg passed away yesterday, RIP.

Schnauzenfest 2011
I house-sat a beautiful house over the weekend, which came with 1 x pool and 2 x schnauzers. Mum brought her schnauzers over to play and they all went crazy in a good way. I kinda miss Ziggy and Frieda now (and the pool).

sunshine
Sunshine is often responsible for turning many a frown upside down. I love photos where you can almost feel the warmth from the sun; where you manage to capture the colour of the sunlight. It usually happens with morning or evening sun. Here are some of my favourite sun-lit photographs.

autumn
As of yesterday, it is officially autumn in Australia. It feels like summer never got started.
(the picture is of a Norwegian autumn in 2009)
